Chorley Parish Council receives a percentage of the CIL monies that Cheshire East Council collects from certain types of development within the Chorley parish area. Because Chorley does not have a Neighbourhood Plan the Parish Council receives 15% of the total CIL monies collected within the parish. CIL monies are intended to fund infrastructure projects.
